I have been racing for the past nine years in both mountain and road. In 2003, I came in second in the 15-16 Arizona State mountain bike series. Over the past few years I have gotten more serious and set my sights on road racing. In 2005 I had a hand full of top finishes in both Category and junior races with placing second at Usery Pass, first at the ASU Criterium, second in the Superior Criterium, and first in both the Arizona State Criterium and Arizona State Time Trial. I was also selected to race with a composite, Arizona Select, in the Tour De l’Abitibi. In the fall of 2006 I started at the University of Arizona and I am majoring in Optical Sciences and Engineering and hope to graduate in 2010. Until then I don’t expect to be devoting too much time to racing and riding but will do so when I can because I still love to ride.
