I originally lived in Traverse City, MI for 21 years. Last season was my first year as a licensed racer. I started as a Cat 5 and worked my way up to Cat 3 with my best finish a 2nd place at Cone Azalia RR. Before last year I raced Expert mountain bike and never finished lower than second in my age category including winning the State Championships. In the past I have enjoyed downhill skiing, waterskiing, and soccer. I enjoyed a lot of success in High School soccer playing for a ranked team and making the all conference team, the all district team, and the all regional team. I also received an all state-honorable mention award. In August of 2005 I moved to Tucson to attend the University of Arizona and to challenge myself to be a better rider. I am currently working on a degree in Physiology. My goals for this year are to upgrade and race competitively as a Cat 2.
